GALAXY IEC INDIA PVT. LTD. (GIEC), Maharashtra has commenced conducting “EARTH Skill training program for state government engineers” under the theme “Preparing ‘MARKET READY’ Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers for Digital India”, on Thursday, December 21 2017.
Delivering a keynote address on the occassion, Managing Director in-charge GIEC, ‘Vijay Avhad’ mentioned that the training program was part of the ongoing nationwide ‘New India’ initiatives, with the objective to fill the EPC skill gaps and enhance quality of work/production.
As the training was to be imparted by several departments at GIEC, Mumbai. He urged the trainees for sincere participation, given the present day-need for trained and dedicated employees on Electrical, Procurement and Turnkey projects for better client-concentric services.
Altogether, 140 trainees attended the program and showed interest in representing 10 departments at GIEC. They now make up the current, first batch under training and the will continue till MARCH 18th 2018. Subsequent batch-wise training would follow thereafter. Under ‘THE EARTH’ program, the targeted number of skilled employees to be trained is 1300/year by 2020.
